Nashville Bachelorette Party

Get your cowboy boots ready, the girls are headed to Nashville!  Union Station in Nashville, Tennessee, was the perfect location for Catie’s bachelorette party.  Union Station is an early 1900s train station that was renovated, and is now a beautiful boutique hotel located downtown within asking distance of most sights.  On arrival some of the ladies had bloody marys at the hotel bar,  Prime 108 Lounge. They then ventured out a few blocks to Rippy’s Bar and Grill for some southern bbq and beer while they waited for the rest of the group to arrive.

With the group all together, it was time to toast the weekend with champagne, open gifts, and have fun with the bride-to-be.

Let the night begin…

First stop cocktails at Bound’ry, then dancing at Tin Roof where the girls got to hit the stage with the band to end the night.
Day two…
Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant had delicious omelets and a buffet, just what the doctor ordered for breakfast to recoup from the night before.  After a nap, and some shopping for a few, they headed to midtown for drinks and lunch at South Street Restaurant.  This is a small casual spot that we like to call a “dive” in the south.  In the warmer months the garage doors are opened to enjoy the fresh air.  Afterward, the group rested and got ready for the night’s activities.  Dinner was downtown at Merchant’s, Catie’s favorite dining location of the trip.
After a great dinner they headed to Big Bang, a dueling piano bar.  Catie was called on stage to be serenaded before her big day.  Next stop, Cadillac Ranch, a large nightlife area that has tons of bars and clubs.  Great time for all!  They chose to end the night again at Big Bang for more singing and fun…

Time to say goodbye…

Lunch at Flying Saucer, next to the hotel, ended their stay in Nashville.  On their way out, the group explored the river front, and did some shopping before they had to catch flights.
Thanks to Catie and her friends for sharing the experience with The Shady Umbrella!

Congratulations to you and your future husband!

Happy Travels,

Kristin
